Agar:

Red seaweed and a natural thickener.

Allantoin:

From the Comfrey root. Comfrey roots contain a substance called allantoin, a powerful soothing agent that promotes the growth of new skin cells.

Aloe Vera:

  A glucomannan or polysacchride that helps with wound healing rehabilitating the  epidermis.

Alginate:

Brown seaweed and a natural thickener.

Alpha Bisabolol:

The active ingredients in Chamomile, reduces puffiness also restores and repairs skin.

Alpha Hydroxy Acids:

Fruit acids gently exfoliate and remove dead skin cells to reveal a youthful, radiant glow!

Alpha Lipoic Acid:

Destroys free radicals, it repairs aged skin, contributing to a healthy looking, glowing complexion.

Anti Oxidant Complex:

Rooibos, White Tea and Green Tea. Polyphenols function as free radical scavengers to inhibit oxidation that can damage cells.

Apple Cider Vinegar:

Astringent that removes dead skin cells, rich in minerals and nutrients.

Simply the best Essential Fatty Acid for skin. It contains Gamma Linoeic Acid (what Evening Primrose is known for, GLA is found in mother's milk) It is gentler on skin than Evening Primrose oil. Great for all skin types, especially for those with acne and prematurely aging skin.

DMAE:

Salt of PABA. A naturally occurring substance that stimulates the nerve cells to release acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter, noticeably firms and tones the skin. It also helps the skin retain it's elasticity. Our DMAE is from the tartaric acid found in grapes.

Dry Brushing:

A natural bristle brush is used on the body, gently exfoliates the skin to get rid of dead skin cell build up and stimulates circulation.

Emulsifying Wax:

            Binds oil and water together. Our Emulsifying Wax is naturally derived from vegetable sources, it is a blend of Polysorbate 60 & Cetearyl Alcohol.

Ergothioneine:

Derived from mushrooms, it is a fierce anti-oxidant that clarifies the skin and helps reduce hyperpigmentation.

Essential Fatty Acid:

Vitamin F, Linoeic Acid. EFA's lubricate the body and aid in the transportation of oxygen to cells. They help coagulate the blood and regulate gland activity.

is a herb with antiseptic properties, it also has a wonderful anise scent.

Ferulic Acid:

Geo Gard:

Is a great alternative to using parabens as a preservative. Geo Gard is paraben free and consists of Gluconolactone and Sodium Benzoate.

Gotu Kola:

Centella asiatica, increases blood circulation, which helps tone and firm skin.  Gotu Kola contains beneficial antioxidants, magnesium and vitamin A, B, E and K. skin tone. Increases the synthesis of collagen to strengthen the skin and combats wrinkles created from thinning skin. Gotu Kola contains Triterpenoids which aid in cell reconstruction to revitalize skin tone.

JOJOBA:

Jojoba is a botanical extract from jojoba tree (simmondsia chinenis). Jojoba oil is very similar to our own sebum. It softens and moisturizes the skin. Jojoba protects the skin by forming a barrier that prevents environmental damage and protects the skin from harmful bacteria. Jojoba oil helps regulate and reduce sebum production. Jojoba contains beneficial antioxidants such as Vitamin E and B complex vitamins. It also contains the minerals: silicon, chromium, copper, iodine and zinc. Jojoba oil is great for all skin types, even those with acne and rosacea.

L- Carnitine:

A naturally occuring amino acid, essential for healthy skin.   

Lactic Acid:

Balances the moisture level of the skin, prevents wrinkles and exfoliates the skin.

Lavender:

Regenerates skin cells.

Lecithin:

Marine Collagen:

Is the most similar to human collagen. With its polysaccharides, vitamins and essential sea minerals, it aids in the healing and structuring of connective tissue. It plumps the skin, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, improves skin elasticity, produces firmer, more even toned skin.

Matrixyl:

Contains matrikines and peptides (Palmitoyl Oligopeptide and Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7) which are messengers of reconstruction that repairs collagen. Diminishes wrinkles and helps restore skins youthful appearance.

MSM:

Methylsulfonylmethane is organic sulfur that helps strengthen the connective tissue under our skin.

Mushroom:

Egrothioneine, an antioxidant that clarifies the skin and helps reduce hyperpigmentation. Promotes firmness and reduces pore size.

Natural Emulsifying System:

              For those who would like an alternative to Emulsifying wax. The Natural Emulsifying System is made of Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate, Cetyl Palmitate and Palm Stearic Acid. The Natural Emusifying System is of vegetable origin and certified BSE-free and solvent free.

Natural Moisturizing Factor(NMF):

NMF regulates how much moisture is being retained by our skin. Proper skin hydration improves the appearance and health of your skin.

Niacin:

Vitamin B3 calms the skin resulting in reduced redness.

Preservative:

A preservative must be used to keep the product safe from harboring any bacteria. We do this in a couple different ways without the use of parabens! First, we use airless containers that keep bacteria from our fingers away from the product so there is no contamination. Second, we use a blend of Rosemary, Neem, Vitamin E, Black Willowbark, and other Organic Extracts at specific levels to keep products safe. Radish Root Ferment Filtrate:is Leucidal® Liquid, it is ECOCert Approved for use in Certified Organic products. Leucidal is a natural preservative derived from radishes fermented with Leuconostoc kimchii, a lactic acid bacteria that consists of a peptide with antimicrobial benefits. Leucidal liquid is a wonderful alternative to traditional preservatives such as parabens. We also use Geo Gard, it is a paraben free preservative and consists of Gluconolactone and Sodium Benzoate. Preservatives are safety tested! Small packages also ensure that you get the freshest products!

Snap 8 is an elongation of our favorite hexapeptide, Argireline. It is anti-aging octapeptide that works to eliminate wrinkles by relaxing expression lines. Snap 8 can reduce the depth of wrinkles by 63%! Clinical studies have shown that using Snap 8, twice a day, for 28 days with a 10% solution can reduce wrinkle depth up to 63%. That is phenomenal!

Sodium Hyaluronate:

Low Molecular Weight for better absorption and dermal penetration. 

Spin Trap:

Spin Trap, PHENYL BUTYL NITRONE, NITRONE, PBN, the smart antioxidant that traps free radicals and then converts the free radicals into oxygen that the body can reuse it for tissue respiration.

Super Antioxidant:

High rating on the ORAC scale such as Super Oxide Dismutase.

Syn Ake:

Syn Ake is an anti wrinkle compound based on snake venom (Waglerin-1) peptide that is found in the Venom of the Temple Viper. that has been shown to mimic the effects of Botox without injections! In a clinical trial using 45 subjects using the product twice a day for 28 days, one-third used Syn Ake, one-third Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 (Argireline) and one-third a placebo, the results were based on two areas: skin roughness and wrinkle depth. The average smoothing for each group of fifteen subjects was 21% for Syn Ake and 4% for Argireline. The average reduction in wrinkle depth was 20% for Syn Ake and 2% for Argireline! Syn Ake has also been shown to reduce wrinkle size up to 50%.
